Despite its intention, the book is strongly oriented towards outward topics. This issue is addressed at page 78, in the paragraph “Women’s experience of the self”. It starts saying “Contemporary feminism is misapprehended if it is only seen as a social and political movement”. Despite the title of the paragraph and this introductory statement, it goes on still concentrating on social and outward issues, just seldom mentioning the self and inner topics. Despite such issues, the book has a high value, is well made, is a necessary book in our world.
